Hi, I'm pat and this is the pat mAcdonald a.k.a. Purgatory Hill website. "Purgatory Hill" began as my Lowebow blues pseudonym and became the name of the band Purgatory Hill, my duo with melaniejane which is still on hold as we co-conspire in other realms of dutiful mischief. "This is a record of a time when I was living out of my car, on couches, cots, etc. It reflects my '70s living conditions: crude, minimal, and kinda dirty."
