Recorded live in Paris in 1991, Espace Ornano best represents the live 4-piece incarnation of Timbuk3. Intended as our IRS Records "swan song" - labels often release live albums right before they drop an artist - they paid for a 2-night multitrack live session in a great music club in Paris. They didn't release it, but part of our severance deal with IRS was ownership of this album's master tapes. We licensed the disc to Watermelon, a little Austin indie label that folded in 1998. Now New West owns their catalog - i'm negotiating a co-release of some stuff (more on that later!) but in the meantime, here are a few tracks you can listen to or download for free. :)
